Tasting Notes - ABV: 14%
Carmine red in colour, with a fragrant nose of blackcurrant, boysenberry, raspberry and Satsuma plum layered over cedar, graphite and dried lavender. The palate shows red and blue fruits, cassis, smoky cedar and liquorice, with fine, chewy tannins and a dusty, savoury finish. A cooler, later vintage with long hang time gave elegance and ripe flavour; Juniper suggests cellaring to 2045.
