2023 Duke’s Vineyard Invitational Chardonnay, Margaret River, WA

Pale hay with green edges. Aromas of grapefruit, green melon, cucumber skin, honeysuckle, golden delicious apple, citrus blossom, lime curd, meyer lemon zest, custard apple and orange blossom. The palate is powerful yet fine-boned, showing grapefruit, lemon zest, shortbread, custard tart, flint and wet granite with mineral drive. Juicy and ripe, with white peach, nectarine and marzipan on a long, elegant finish.
